Did you know that Department stores are giving away free cosmetics as part of a settlement from a class-action suit that alleges price gouging by Department stores and big-name cosmetics makers.  Stores like Saks, Bergdorf’s, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor and Macy’s were some of those Department stores found gouging.  If you purchased cosmetics during the period of May 29, 1994 through July 16, 2003 from a list of products at the site listed below, you are entitled to one FREE cosmetic.

This is time sensitive: The giveaway began Tuesday, January 20, 2009 and runs through C.O.B. Monday, January 26th.

The policy says, only one item per customer.  However, previous customers said that they have taken male friends with them who care less for cosmetics and have gotten free items for them.
